What Is Dalgona Coffee?
Unlike any coffee house drink you’ve had before, dalgona coffee originates from South Korea. Its name originates from a Korean toffee candy that shares the same name as well as the same ingredients. In the United States, dalgona coffee has exponentially spiked in popularity across the country for many understandable reasons. Not only is it tasty to drink, but it’s also fun to make and fun to drink!
What You’ll Need
Though whipped coffee may look intimidating to make, it’s actually very simple. In fact, the recipe only calls for 4 ingredients: milk, sugar, instant coffee, and water. Although it may seem bizarre to use instant coffee, it actually works perfectly for this drink, and it stands up to its fancy espresso-based competitors. For this recipe, you’ll need the following:
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 1 tablespoon white granulated sugar
- ½ cup milk of your choosing.
This is a great instant coffee to use for this recipe!
